Overview

The Firm represents a diverse spectrum of clients from numerous sectors like electricity, green energy, oil and gas, steel, mining, enviro-engineering projects, roads, non-metro airports, ports, health care, SEZs, FMCG and education. The Firm has been advising various domestic and international clients including banks and financial institutions, securitization companies, investors, government entities and regulatory bodies in matters relating to the establishing and operating of infrastructure entities/utilities under various models, including the PPP model.

The Infrastructure Advisory and Regulatory Practice includes

  • Review and analysis of intervening regulatory issues;
  • Risk analysis and reporting in relation to state concessions and project agreements;
  • Drafting of venture documents, including shareholders agreements, licensing agreements;
  • Drafting and negotiating finance and security agreements;
  • Legal due diligence, including opinion on land ownership and usage status;
  • Preparation of commercial and legal risk matrix;
  • Assistance in developing bid strategy;
  • Litigation, including arbitration.
